| Program Description: |
Fullerton implemented at three pilot schools in September of 2004 and expanded to four schools in September of 2005. Students at Fisler in grades 1-8 participate primarily through parent pay using a lease. Nicolas is grades 7-8 and is primarily funded using categorical funds. Golden Hill is grades 5-6 with parent pay through a three year lease and Hermosa is grades 3-6 in the Gifted and Talented portion of the program and grades 5-6 in the regular education portion of the program. Both Hermosa and Golden Hill are parent pay.
The parent pay portion of the program was challenged by the ACLU this year and a settlement agreement was filled with the court. The complete agreement is published on the district website under 1:1 resources. |
