| Program Description: |
The goal of LIFT 21 is to develop a model for enhancing student achievement by implementing a 1:1 laptop computing environment for every 8th and 9th grade student and their teachers in the district. Students will use the laptops in the classrooms for a few weeks and then will be able to take the computers home. The students will take them to all classrooms, all subjects. The teachers will engage in several different professional development opportunities including workshops, online training, and one-on-one individualized support.
